They say every cloud has a silver lining, and true to form, from the demise of 4 bands, Sianar came to life. A buying and selling page on Facebook, the new place not to just buy music gear it would seem, but to meet like minded musicians. Social media seen over half the band cross paths in a well timed sequence of events. Add a dynamite music ad for members and within a week a band was born. Fast forward 3 months and the band have already recorded their debut EP with legendary Scottish producer Sandy Jones at Foundry Music Lab in Motherwell. The 8th of April 2017 sees the EP’s release at Glasgow’s Classic Grand, Showcasing 4 original tracks, which ooze energy in a modern guitar rock style and are a fantastic showcase of the high level of musicianship and songwriting hailing from Scotland’s central belt. You may not have heard the Name Sianar as yet, but 2017 is set to change that.
